Our Beliefs

  • We believe in one God, who is absolute in dominion, sovereign of the universe, infinitely good, the most pure, and the most spiritual of beings
  • We believe that God grants freedom from the guilt, power, nature and consequences of sin to all who trust Him fully through Jesus Christ
  • We believe that the eternal God exists in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Ghost, and that Jesus Christ is the second person of the Godhead
  • We believe that Jesus Christ provided full and complete atonement for all human sins by His suffering, shedding of blood and death, burial and resurrection; and that this atonement is the only basis of salvation
  • We believe that God created man a free moral being with ability to choose between right and wrong
  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, from the dead, and our hope of being raised from the dead to everlasting life and immortality is based on the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ
  • We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ will come again, and that at His coming all the righteous dead will be raised and those people who have trusted Christ as their Lord and Savior and are still alive and remain faithful and true to Him, will be caught up together with those who have been raised from the dead to meet the Lord in the air to be piloted to our eternal and heavenly home
  • We believe in the future judgment in which every man shall appear before the great God of the Universe, to be judged according to his deeds in this life
  • We believe that Heaven is not just a state, but a place.  It is the place where God dwells and it is the promised home of all those who by faith have trusted Christ for full salvation
  • We believe that Hell is a literal place and that it is the final destination of the lost and a place of everlasting punishment
  • We believe in water baptism, and it is administered after a person has repented of his sins and has put their trust in Jesus Christ for a full pardon
  • We believe in the observance of the Lord’s Supper, or “Communion” as instituted by our Lord before His death on the cross
  • We believe in tithing as the principal means of supporting the gospel of Christ financially
  • We believe in the doctrine of divine healing as recorded in the Word of God
  • We believe that “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16 (NKJV)
