Sunday School Ministry 

The Mission of the Sunday School Ministry:

• Lead children to Christ and to help them grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord, subsequently sharing the love of Christ to others.

The Vision Sunday School Department:

• “Sunday school in the streets” is our vision for the future of the Ministry. We want to see classes become mobile. We want children to hear the gospel and see it come alive right before their eyes. Our vision will be accomplished through songs, story time, videos, art and craft, etc. We want Sunday school to be accessible to all, near and far.

The goals of the Sunday School Ministry:

• Conduct weekly biblical sessions appropriate to the needs and understanding of the pupils, thus fulfilling the ministry of Jesus to “suffer the children to come unto me.”
• Provide opportunity for the salvation of each pupil and their subsequent maturation in Christ, through Vacation Bible school.
• Organize training seminars and workshops to help to improve the effectiveness of teachers.
• Encourage fellowship and loving relationships through appropriate social and spiritual events, such as Christmas Celebrations and Bake sales.
• Help build Christian character and train individuals in Christian service thereby helping to build the church.
